Terms and Conditions

Event Ticketing Platform - Beans Media

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ('Terms') constitute a legally binding agreement between you ('User', 'Ticket

Holder') and Beans Media ('we', 'us', 'Organiser') governing your access to and use of our event ticketing

platform ('Platform') and your purchase of tickets for events organised or hosted by Beans Media.

By accessing the Platform or completing a ticket purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood,

and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Terms and all policies incorporated herein by reference,

including the Privacy Policy and Cancellation and Refund Policy.

These Terms are subject to applicable laws of India including the Indian Contract Act, 1872, the

Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the Information

Technology Act, 2000, and the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to independently purchase tickets on this Platform.

Persons below eighteen (18) may attend events only with a ticket purchased by a parent or legal

guardian who accepts these Terms on their behalf.

By completing a purchase, you represent and warrant that all information provided by you is accurate,

current, and complete, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under Indian

law.

3. Ticket Purchase and Pricing

All ticket prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR). The total amount payable at checkout is broken down

as follows:

• Face value of the ticket (for example, General Admission: Rs. 200.00)

• A service fee charged by Beans Media (for example: Rs. 5.00)

• Any applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) as per prevailing government rates

The complete price breakdown is displayed clearly on the checkout page before payment confirmation.

By completing payment, you acknowledge and accept all charges as displayed.

Beans Media reserves the right to revise ticket prices and service fees at any time prior to completion of

your transaction. Once payment is confirmed, the price will not be altered.

4. Payment ProcessingAll payments on this Platform are processed securely by Razorpay Software Private Limited ('Razorpay'),

a Reserve Bank of India (RBI) authorised payment aggregator. By making a payment, you also agree to

Razorpay's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Beans Media does not store, access, or process your payment card details, UPI VPA, net banking

credentials, or any other financial authentication data. All such data is handled exclusively by Razorpay in

compliance with applicable RBI guidelines and PCI-DSS standards.

In the event of a payment failure or processing error, please contact your bank or payment provider in the

first instance. If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, please contact our Grievance Officer at

contact@beans.media with your transaction reference.

5. Ticket Delivery

Upon successful payment, your ticket, QR code, and booking acknowledgement will be delivered to the

email address provided at the time of registration.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that the email address provided is accurate and accessible.

Beans Media shall not be liable for non-delivery of tickets due to incorrect email addresses, spam or junk

mail filters, inbox storage limits, or any failure of your email service provider.

Your QR code is your proof of entry and must be presented at the venue in digital or printed form for

scanning. Beans Media reserves the right to require additional identity verification at the venue entry

point.

6. Non-Transferability and Anti-Resale Policy

Tickets purchased on this Platform are strictly personal and non-transferable. Each ticket is valid

exclusively for the individual(s) named or associated with the booking at the time of purchase.

The resale, subletting, auctioning, brokering, or commercial redistribution of tickets through any channel

is strictly prohibited. Any ticket obtained through unauthorised resale or a secondary market platform will

be declared void and the holder will be refused entry without refund.

Beans Media actively monitors for fraudulent or scalped tickets and reserves the right to cancel any ticket

it reasonably believes has been transferred or resold in breach of these Terms, without prior notice.

This restriction is consistent with guidelines issued by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs and applicable

provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

7. Admission and Event Conduct

Entry to any event is subject to valid QR code verification at the venue. Beans Media and venue

authorities reserve the right to refuse entry or eject any person who:

• Presents an invalid, duplicate, void, or tampered QR code

• Is found to be in possession of a transferred or resold ticket

• Behaves in a disruptive, offensive, threatening, or unlawful manner• Is under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances causing disturbance to other attendees

• Violates any venue-specific rules, fire safety regulations, or applicable law

No refund will be issued in the event of refusal of entry or ejection for the above reasons.

Recording of film screenings by any audio, video, photographic, or digital means is strictly prohibited

under the Cinematograph Act, 1952 (as amended by the Cinematograph (Amendment) Act, 2023).

Violation may result in immediate removal from the venue and referral to law enforcement.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Platform including event listings, images, branding, logos, text, and design elements

are the intellectual property of Beans Media or its licensors, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and

applicable Indian intellectual property law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content from this

Platform without the prior written consent of Beans Media.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Beans Media's total aggregate liability to you

in connection with any event, ticket purchase, or use of the Platform shall not exceed the total amount

actually paid by you for the relevant ticket(s).

Beans Media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages,

including loss of profit, loss of data, or loss of enjoyment, arising from your use of the Platform or

attendance at events, except to the extent such liability cannot be excluded by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by Beans Media's

negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

10. Force Majeure

Beans Media shall not be in breach of these Terms or liable for any failure or delay in performance of its

obligations arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of

God, pandemic, epidemic, government orders or directives, civil unrest, fire, flood, power outages, or

failure of third-party service providers.

In such circumstances, Beans Media will notify affected ticket holders at the earliest opportunity and

communicate available remedies in accordance with the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

11. Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform

shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chandigarh, India.Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to first raise your concern with our Grievance Officer

and allow a period of thirty (30) days to address the matter.

Disputes falling under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 may also be referred to the appropriate

Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission having jurisdiction over the place of your residence or the

place of the transaction.

We will acknowledge your complaint within forty-eight (48) hours and endeavour to resolve it within thirty

(30) days of receipt.

13. Amendments

Beans Media reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Amendments will be posted on the

Platform and, where material, notified to registered users via email at least fifteen (15) days prior to taking

effect. Your continued use of the Platform following such notification constitutes acceptance of the

revised Terms.
